Candlelit Yin Yoga
Date: 8th Feb 2019
Place: Dublin Wellness Centre, 28 South William St, D2
Celebrate the beginning of Spring and the Feast of St. Brigid with an hour and a half of candle-lit Yin Yoga.
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga that targets the deeper connective tissues of the body. We approach yoga poses from a softer, more passive place, and spend longer in each pose (anywhere from 3-10 minutes, depending on the pose).
It’s all about opening up your body and allowing your muscles relax, as opposed to trying to get them to go anywhere or do anything.
We’ll open up the hips, unwind the spine, and detangle the shoulders. Expect one or two poems to mark the beginning of Spring.
You do not need to have done any yoga before to attend this workshop.

I have taught yoga to adults, teenagers and children, and once inadvertently to a gang of monkeys (they didn’t stay long though). I am available for group or private classes. To arrange a class, or for any questions, contact me on firstname.lastname@example.org or 0861651992.

“Miriam’s classes are some of the best I’ve been to. She creates a wonderful energy in the room. Puts you in a relaxed and meditative mood for the rest of the day and after.” – Cormac.
“My favourite hour and a half of the week … the movements are manageable while also being challenging and Miriam is welcoming, genuine and helpful. I feel blissfully unburdened of the worries of modern life at class, and that feeling is starting to stay with me in the hours and days afterwards.” – Maeve.
